A dreamlike mood piece from my sepia era, with dark humor and aged copper tones. This tin man looks out at the audience, searching for mercy, yet still oddly silly in his plea. There's a temptation to laugh at him as parts and pieces seem to fly in a warm glow, his razor-sharp shoes catching the light.

It sits in that space between realities, one world looking into another, old and modern at once. A little pathos, a little humor, and a quiet lesson in learning not to take ourselves too seriously.
