This little jewel is mixed media on a small wood panel, a one-off rockabilly grease monkey, definitely copping an attitude. There’s a playful edge in the details, like the backwoods belt buckle, a small, offbeat moment that gives it life.

It comes from a lighter, exploratory time in my journey, when I was just beginning to shape and discover my characters.
