As grand as Texas itself and as unflinching as a gunslinger in a Western pulp novel, Big Tex stands poised for a show down. Our scoured hero finds himself surrounded by thoughts and images of cactus, cattle, horses and thieves. Outlaws, pioneers and Native Americans hide among the layered landscape. “Stick to Your Guns” is as much about my love for Texas as it is about action, determination, tenacity and staying true to your convictions. In a lawless land, one must stay focused and stare down the scoundrels of fear, compromise and doubt.
